Flower Shows

A series of shows at the Botanical Gardens will have flower fans flocking to Munich this June. During the sixth annual Fuchsia Show, June 9 to 17, some of the more than 10,000 varieties of the vibrant plant will be on display. South American fuchsias in the Winter Hall, and fuchsia trees along the garden’s walkways will introduce visitors to types not often seen on urban balconies. For those looking to bring some greenery home, a market will feature potted plants, postcards, and even fuchsia-related literature. From June 29 to July 2, roses and lilies will take over the Winter Hall terrain in a popular annual exhibition. A goods market will offer something for every green thumb. During each show, the grounds will be open daily from 9 am to 6:30 pm. Tickets will cost € 4, and include a visit to the normal greenhouses.
